What exactly does condominium management involve these days?

Hey everyone, I'm on the board of a mid-size condo association and we're thinking about bringing in professional help instead of handling everything ourselves. Things like maintenance coordination, collecting fees, dealing with vendors, and keeping the finances straight are starting to take up too much time. Has anyone here worked with a good management company? What are the main things they actually handle, and is it worth the cost for a building with around 50-60 units? Any tips or experiences would be appreciated!

Yeah, I've been on the board for a few years now, and switching to professional condominium management made a big difference for us. They take care of the day-to-day stuff: budgeting, paying bills, organizing repairs, handling resident complaints, enforcing rules, and making sure everything complies with local regs. It frees up the board to focus on bigger decisions instead of chasing late fees or fixing minor issues. Ours isn't perfect, but it definitely reduced headaches and kept things running smoother. If you're looking into options, check out what City Towers offers — they have solid services for associations like ours condominium management Worth reading their site to compare. Just make sure to get references from other condos they've managed.
